This is my go to for happy hour. The food and service are always spot on. It gets a little noisy, though, probably because it is just so popular.

Came here for happy hour and the food was very good. Prime rib sandwich was a bit small for the price. Salad was good and plentiful. Shrimp was good too. D cocktail was very good and not watered down. Decent value for the money. Restaurant was the busiest in downtown. Gotta try this place for dinner.

Decided to try this place to celebrate my other half's birthday. Somewhere along the lines, the reservation system started getting weird. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times to confirm our reservation, but had no luck speaking to anyone; it's an automated phone system. We tried our luck anyways and the staff was able to accommodate us and clarified that their reservation system has been glitching. We were relieved that we were seated and still able to celebrate. Our server was very prompt and attentive, checked on us, and would refill our water. Unfortunately, the dry aged rib eye wasn't on the menu (12/29/2024), which was the whole reason we came here. With nothing else really jumping out at us, we decided to try the short rib and halibut. Along with appetizers - truffle fries, roasted oysters, beef tartare. Appetizers were fantastic! Entree's were decent. They also have a good drink and cocktail menu. The Malbec complimented all of our dishes perfectly. Ambiance is very nice, it's not too loud and not too crowded. There's a mix of bar tables, booths, and regular tables. Then the worst happened, my other half got food poisoning and was sick once we got home until early the next day. This was a decent experience, but we probably won't go out of our way to dine here.

Came here for the prime rib and was pleasantly surprised that they have happy hour menu on bar bites and drinks on a Saturday (330p-6p), so we ordered drinks and bar bites, such as their mini wedge salad and fried calamari. Their happy hour menu is happening. I would definitely come back here just for that. Additionally their prime rib, which we opted for the 20 oz., was superbly tender and savory! It was delightful with every bite. They do need to get new ones or sharpen them. It was a bit on the dull side to be able to cut the prime rib smoothly. Their creamed spinach was spot on as well as their mashed potatoes. I had a splendid time here and it was for my husband's birthday with our baby. I decided to get him prime rib since he loved prime rib more than a cake. I wouldn't say it's a baby friendly spot, but we did what we can to make it an enjoyable dining experience. Lovely place for any occasion.

Good food. Good service. Nice steak house, kind of casual, not fussy. Fresh oysters. Loved the fries and oysters. A small mistake was made by our server, they took quite a bit of time to give us our food. People who had sat down and ordered after us received their food before us. I inquired about our food. They promptly brought us our food and very kindly made it up to us with a comped dessert and cocktail. The manager came to apologize as well. I think they handled this well. The food was good. Nothing extraordinary but solid. I'd come back if in the area.

Came by for a dinner date and was pleasantly surprised how good EVERYTHING tasted except for the deviled eggs. The beef skewers were excellent. The mac and cheese with bacon was pretty good as well. The butternut bisque was next level in flavor, I could eat a gallon of that easily. Our steak dinner was up there with the beef skewers, extremely good. We had fast and friendly service. We will definately be coming back for another round of drinks and dinner.

It's my first time here and the place is quite crowded on Sunday evening. It's easy to make reservations on Yelp which is great! We were sitting in the back of the restaurant which is quieter and brighter settings. Ribeye: we ordered medium rare and it came out perfectly. My friend ordered the same but came out bloody. We probably should have told the restaurant to cook a little more since my friend didn't eat much while we finished ours! Prime rib: I ordered medium rare and it came out great. I like the flavor and the horseradish sauce. Oysters: Although it looked small, it tasted fresh! The sauce came with it made it even better!! Donut holes: I got it because it came with the coffee ice cream. The ice cream tasted great. The donut hole has a lot of sugar and cinnamon powder and the donut itself is a little chewy. It's a nice experience. They have many other items I'm interested to try next time!

I've been wanting to get back up to Petaluma and I particularly wanted to try out Seared Steak and Seafood. I came on a Saturday night about an hour before they closed so the crowd had moved on to other locations so seating was easy. On this evening, I grabbed a seat at the bar and met some personable folks sharing their experiences in the area. What was a pleasant surprise was the menu options and especially the pricing put a smile on my face compared to those in SF. The menu has a reasonable list of steak options and a lower amount of seafood choices. This evening, I landed on the Filet Mignon an 8oz. CAB filet mignon, duck fat potatoes, creamed spinach, demi-glace, shallot + blue cheese butter. Very good quality and tasty! There are several other protein options and all very good price points. They have a full bar and some good choices of wines. What I found out is their happy hour is very popular starting from 3:30 pm - 6 pm and also have some very good options off the HH menu. Though my visit was short but memorable I look forward to coming back again to make the happy hour.
